This coming Sunday one of our regular fly-ins at Brogdale. It will not be on the usual field as they have an Easter Egg event. I will update later in the week where we shall be located at Brogdale, once I have spoken to my contact there.

Some of our members will be having their own cerf volents en Berck, La Republique de France.
But for those who are not travelling across the water or playing with water- mobile boats, this is a venue who wish to fly this Sunday and work off some of those Easter Eggs.

Wendy and I will be supporting the Brogdale contingent - we will be bringing our own "Kite-in-tree" rescue kit.

Weather isn't looking to brilliant for Sunday. Heavy rain coming in from France!! You would have thought they might have kept it there! Keeping fingers crossed that it's not as bad as forecast Mike

Thanks for all the replies, we shall not be on the same field. We have been allocated the big field and the car park side. I am not sure what that means but as I am at Brogdale on Saturday with grandsons, I will check out the exact location.
Weather forecasters cannot make up their minds, from chucking down with rain to occassional showers. I will venture up there for around 11am. I will take the club kites and some for sale just in case anyone comes along to ask.
As soon as I can confirm the field I will post Saturday night.
Whatever you are doing have a good Easter weekend

Whilst I was at Brogdale to-day, I came across my contact there, so had confirmed to me that we can enter through the main carpark and then go through the silver gate at the rear { please close it properly after going through, so as to ensure the public do not enter through it}. I have been told that we can use the normal field although there will be a few vehicles parked in it towards the buildings. If that is not suitable tomorrow we can go in the large field at the back. If challenged at any time I have made the arrangements with Kimberley and the person in charge tomorrow is Bernie { female}.

Raining hard in Chatham, just checked the weather which is rain all day clearing about 7pm, is this still a go? I have packed the car - kites cannot get any wetter still happy to go but do not want to stand in the mud being rained on by myself Anyone else already there or still going? Should be a steady 9mph wind
