Nice turn out from KKf at Brogdale, Kevin arrived first, then me and Mike and Barbara, Steve P and Matt. It was drizzle most of the morning, managed to fly a few kites.Kept going until about 3pm when heavier rain came in. Some kites to dry out. We have a couple of visitors who came and chatted, loaned out a kite to a youngster who was there with his mother and brother. Considering all it was in an enjoyable time. As Brogdale was disappointing with their Easter show, having been yesterday as a member of the paying public. I felt that KKF added some colour and spectacle to Brogdale for to-day at least.

Good afternoon first Kentish turtle made an appearance unfortunately it was a little dull for my phone so I'll have to wait for Barbara's photos to share.

Interesting afternoon, managed to fly more than the forecast had led us to expect to be able to do. The rain when it came was heavy enough to force rain stopped play and we all went home with several wet kites (teach me to fly trains of kites!). After an hour at home the rain had stopped and the sun came out again. All in all an enjoyable afternoon with good company Mike

I agree a good day in good company. The rain was an inconvenience but did not stop play until late. A nice variety of kites flown, single and multiple lines. Not sure that putting two fully laden poles up was a good idea - I have a lot of drying out to do, not to mention the rain getting into the hatch and making everything damp there. C'est la vie.
