Brogdale have asked if we have any Japanese kites within the club to enhance the above event. Before I accept I just wish to know if members are able to commit to the event.

I can probably do this. Presumably it is just a static display?

Could I get away with a modern take on an Edo?? My 7foot black 3do by Skybums I am sure that no-one at Brogdale knows what a Japanese kite really is, I think they are more about the design , so if can get a few good kites in the air, then we possible have a back ground of other kites.

The event is definitely on, as well as static kites we are allowed to fly.
We shall be in the middle back field, i.e. that is the one directly behind the field where we have fly-ins. We have to be set up by 10.30am so that is the latest for being able to access the field, I will double check that is correct, as I have just re-read the e-mail from Brogdale.
As stated before they have requested Japanese kites, especially if they have an oriental design on the kite.
The event is officially from 11am to 3pm, but the e-mail states that they anticipate visitors milling around if it is a nice day.

I have been requested that if possible all those attending are on the field by 10am, to allow us time to set up the static display as well as being in position to fly. My thoughts is if we have the kites we wish to fly on display during the day, perhaps around the cars, or the edge of the field, selecting and replacing as we go fly.
