Malcolm does that mean we will be able to park on the Events field?? Weather currently looks as light rain with 10 to 21 mph winds but this might change over the next few days

Well a good turn out of KKF Members arrived to fly at 10.00hrs then the strong winds and rain also showed up. A few keen flyers got out suitable kites to fly, but soon the rain got heavier and we retreated to shelter in our cars. Lots of intrepid Cherry Blossom hunters arrived to view them in the rain. I got drenched walking back to the car and decided to call it a day, and sods law by the time I arrived home in Ashford the sky was blue and the sun was shining, but I was still wet through!

It stopped raining at Brogdale around mid-day, and it eventually became a very nice day, with members flying many kites

Exactly as forecast the rain stopped around lunchtime and the sun came out. Wind lessened after a while and it turned into a beautiful kiting afternoon. We all dried out and flew a good number of kites, most of them japanese inspired! A good day! Mike

Nice shots Steve, especially like the one of my other half Debbie.
We have had very nice and appreciative feedback from the organisers about the kites
