The weather forecast at the moment is not wonderful for the week-end and just enquiring if any members wish to suggest a venue for Sunday, with a proviso that it may not go ahead due to the weather ?
Following on discussion below, The venue is now by The Sunken Gardens, Royal Esplanade, Westbrook, Margate, just up and along from St. Mildred's Bay. from 11am. Any changes will be notified on this Thread,.

Will try to get to margit. Are we thinking the push end out the slums? that is the up and coming area of South Thanet, cliftonville aka Palm Bay ( Farage possible territory) or Westbrook Sunken gardens above St Mildreds Bay ?? "Hurt" of Meregate (That is the correct name and spelling of the town which has been altered over the years)

Was thinking of by the sunken gardens as it's slightly closer, however will happily go through to Palm Bay if that's where the majority want to go. Mike

Sunken garden is a good idea, last May bank Holiday there was a motor bike festival all along the front and getting to Palm Bay would have been a nightmare

Let us agree the Sunken Gardens, above St Mildred's Bay, but will have to see how weather is forecasted on Saturday for Sunday. It is very changeable, this morning the forecast was unsettled with cloud, sun and maybe rain, whereas yesterday the forecast was rain all day Sunday.

You need never drive through any part of Margit (thats how us true Thanet South residents spell it Malcolm), Just drive through Royal Ramsgate and with any luck you can bump into Mr. FROMAGE and put us all out of misery. As to the weather it would seem that after a wet night the rain is due to stop late morning and a nice kiting afternoon is expected. Barring my stomach flaring up again (been bed ridden since Tuesday night) I'll be there (though I always prefer flying at Palm Bay which is Thanet South........unfortunately! It should be made a buffer state like Belgium).
