This is the 3rd Sundy in the month and it is booked for Brogdale Fruit Farm for one of visits to our regular fly-in site.

Lovely afternoon at Brogdale, warm and sunny but unfortunately Len had used up all the wind before we arrived and we struggled to fly anything. Len was there when Barbara & I arrived and we attempted to fly a couple of Genkis but the wind had other ideas and steadfastly refused to be more than just a whisper. We were joined by Steve and it was good to see Matt again. As the afternoon drew to a close we were joined by three of our most recent members and the clubs youngest member put us all to shame by excitedly flying his little diamond (for full details see the next issue of the Windjammer) As the sun went down the chill set in and we headed home A lovely day spoiled by lack of wind Mike

I was hoping to come along, but family matters got in the way.
Missing being out there with you all, so hopefully will be able to fly soon.
