Yep, have planned to get a kite out at Woodchurch on Sunday. Believe Kaddy L-P is going on a bike ride this Sunday from Broadstairs.
Suggest we keep an eye on the forum for any last minute changes, as the weather forecast is for showers all over the week-end.

Just got back from Woodchurch, arrived just before 11.00 Steve and Sue there already then Barbara and Mike, Malcolm, Ern, Gareth and Heather. The weather went from sunny and windy to heavy rain and no wind and every combination in-between. Several members of the public stopped and chatted/watched. We were disappointed that we would not see the two Lancaster Bombers fly by, due to the strong winds, but we did see the Barbara P Triplane flying sorties. Several Kites, new to members were flown for the first time. All in all it was a good day, I left for home around 17.30 hrs.

He'll use it as an umbrella I now know what their for, thanks, so if it rains at Woodchurch, I can be dry Well I can confirm one of my kites is a good umbrella, oh and I flew other kites, but learnt to look at the sky behind us, so see if any clouds which could have rain, were on their way, so as I did not put a kite up or brought down the one I was flying before the arrival of any rain. All in all a good day even though during the first couple of hours we played in and out of cars, with the rain.
