Let's hope that the predicted stormy weather does what it did for Brighton!!! The weather hsa been very localised in Kent in the recent months, so will have to wait and see; Saturday is predicted to be the worse day.We still should make a presence there. In regard to parking on fields, the only vehicle allowed to stay on the parachuting field is BIll's as he has the equipment. The other vehicles should be parked in the second field allocated to KKF, and parked by the hedge closest to the car park areas.

In response to Gareth's enquiry, entrance should be through main entrance and then to the back of the main car park and through gate into the field behind, to the top of the field and the through gap and through the next field and through the gap again, this should be our second field where cars should be parked. I intend being there by 9am so hopefully will sort out any problems in regard to access before arrival of any-one else.

Ta. Just so you are aware, all of the gaps were fenced off at our last fly in so we had to use the entrance opposite the rear of the café.

Had a massive storm last night in Ashford. This morning is grey and wet under foot but the sun has just come out so fingers crossed.

For those attending on Sunday the entrance is not as previously stated, if you arrive by 09.45, please drive pass the car park and up to railway station do a sharp right just before the station and then a sharp left into a field with a wooden shelter at far end. Parking is in the field behind. Ater 09.45 take the first entrance pass the car park and then go through to the rear of the field go through gap turn left and follow track through gap into the next field.
Any-one who is unable to obatin entry through either entrance will ahve to park in main car park

Well we survived!, the road from Ashford to Faversham was littered with the detritus of last nights storm including one tree that had come down and was half across the road. We got set up in the dry then it rained for a while and then the sun shone and shone, it was sweltering and unbearable at times. The wind was little or none but we managed to loft the bears that were brought to us by their owners who went away with their Certificates of bravery. We left at 17.30hrs weary, knowing that we are back tomorrow.
