Hum may be our secretary got mixed up or may be he asked Brogdale if we could move it as the Hop Farm had offered us the site last week! Quite right too It is Brogdale this Sunday, I have confirmed we are able to fly there on Sunday 24th. Please note we have been requested to park in the main carpark and walk through any equipment into the field next to the car park, due to the winter conditions Just a note that I have booked through 2014 with Brogdale mainly on 3rd Sunday in the months, there will be changes due to other things happening at Brogdale including their three main events Cherry, Cider and Apple festivals on which I am just awaiting dates.I will be applying through for height clearance through 2014 for the Brogdale dates

Just to state I do hold a CAA certificate for this Sunday for additional height clearance up to 1000ft. I will not be thee so if any-one wishes me to e-mail them the permit to display on the dashboard of their car pleaee let me know by 10 am to-=morrow morning as I am away form the computer after that for the weekend.

I arrived around 11.30, first one to arrive so got my Flow Tail aloft then VI Rok. Steve arrived at 1300hrs followed by Barbara and Mike. Steve and Barbara flew their 4 line Rev? type kites. Bill and Matt arrived a while later, the weather was cold and the wind was in evidence all day, the sun popped out now and again and it stayed dry!. At 15.30hrs three of us got our LED Kites aloft, all needed Tails as the wind had picked up and boy! was it cold, after half an hour I decided to bring mine down while I could still feel my fingers and I think the others felt the same as they did the same. Left for home at 16.30hours all rosy cheeked and frozen stiff so on went the car heater full blast!
