Once again Kent Kite Flyers have been invited to be one of the additional attractions at Brogdale Fruit Farm, Faversham. Primarily to offer teddy bear parachuting, although there is room to fly in the same field. WE are a bit short of helpers this week-end especially Saturday so any-one who wishes to support and help promote kite flying and Kent Kite Flyers would be welcome.
The doors to the festival open at 11am and it is anticipated we should be in place by 10am. The Cider Festival official finish is 5pm Please note that you will not be allowed to bring dogs, and if you wish to visit the orchards, you will need to obtain a pass from the reception area. The exhibition areas are free to KKF members attending. so long as either you are wearing some from of KKF identification or are carrying your membership[ card.
Entrance to where we are flying ( field number 9) is by coming pass the first car park on the road with building s on the left and there is an entrance through the hedge. This is the second car park, go to the end of this field and there is a gap in the hedge. Go through the gap and across the field to the far end and should find a gap in the hedge on the far left hand side.

Well that was one very wet Brogdale!!! Lets hope tomorrow is dryer!! Reminds me of an old song " What a difference a day makes" Warm, variable cloud, but in the end sunny, with a good wind all day on Sunday Thanks you for all those who came along and supported the event, especially those who braved Saturday's rains and came back for more. It was good to see Colin Croucher up from Hampshire on both days and his wife Margaret on Sunday
