Did any one pick up the instructions for the Dopero I bought? They seem to have fallen out of the bag. Also I seem to be missing a 3metre long 6mm spar does any one have such in their purchases? The one I have is in two parts with a white feral in the middle and knocks on each end. Stephen

Dopero instructions
Don't fly in small fields surrounded by trees and power lines in zero wind. It can only end badly.
Spines are usually 6mm. Top spreader is usually 8 or 10mm and must be bowed. Bottom spreader is usually 8mm and doesn't need to be bowed but usually is.

I will go through all my stuff this week and see if there is anything left over. The task is somewhat daunting especially as the Cody is larger than any room in my house.

Get a different perspective - try KAP Thanks Gareth I have two 8mm spreader but also have a 6mm which is exacly the right length for the lower one so was thinking may be it was a ultra light wind option to spar in 6 all round. I suppose I might just have a spar from someone else's purchase.

OK With my Tri D I have an extra 6mm spar, just short of 1metre long with nocks (more like 6mm spar clips) at each end Is anyone missing such an item from their auction purchase? Mike

I have checked all mine now - I do not appear to have any extra bits (sorry Steve no Dopero instructions). The Roller does have the 2 cross pieces missing but as there were an assortment of oddments in the bag with it, it is probable that this was a job for the future (though none are individually long enough for the task). Can anyone tell me what sort of "mm" width spar I need, the 2 lengths are 125cm and 120cm?

Mike My Tri-di has a single bracer as you describe - mine is 77cm long. If you already have 2 bracers then it may belong to mine. If it is just a single bracer it probably belongs to yours to lock the 2 x cross sections into place. I have yet to work out whether I need 1 or 2 bracers and where it/they have to go to prevent imbalance and lock the 2 cross sections into place. I will bring mine to the next few fly-ins to check.

This is why I stopped bidding on the framed lifters and went for the soft ones instead! Lol

Kevin I will pop the spare rod in the car for the next few fly ins so we can check. It definately doesn't belong to mine. Mike
