Always assuming the rain doesnt beat the kites to the ground before you reach that height! Mike

Has anyone registered this under "Things to do" on the BBC Radio Kent website? Are we a "Things to do" partner? The logo is a kite too!!!

I sent a circular to all the local newspapers 7 radio stations as I normally do. One of the workers at Academy FM has 'Liked' our facebook page. If the Cloud base drops below 1000 foot technically we have to fly on the deck, CAA notice says no flying within 100feet vertically & 1800metres horizontally of cloud!! The presence of an army Apache today may have something to do with the %00 foot instead of 1500 as Malcolm asked for or some one just missed the key! Keep your figures crossed www.xcweather.co.uk/forecast/folkestone

Gareth is right....and the other stuff is standard on all CAA permissions.... Am not quite sure how you'd measure such stuff anyway....but common sense tells us not to fly too high in fog.... Thoughts of us flying on Detling Hill come to mind!!! ?!!!!!

Steve, it would be a good idea to register us on the Things to do list so we can also advertise other stuff such as LUTS and even fly-ins.... I am happy to do so if you aren't.
