Hello, Kite Flyers!
Whilst I have flown kites for ages, and been in Kent for ages (specifically Canterbury), until recently it has not occurred to me to look for other people that do that in this place. Which is pretty odd.
ANYWAY! I'm a graduate electronic engineer, working as a broadcast engineer for a "well known broadcaster" in London during the week, and have a couple of kites I like to fly at the weekends. Right now, I've just got a little HQ stunt kite and a HQ foil (Symphony I think) - however at some point in the future I want to get into KAP and get something a bit more chunky to lift a rig. As you might guess, I'm pretty interested in the electronics that make it work, as well as taking excellent pictures (and video?). The mechanics and rigging, I'm not quite so hot with.
I'd quite like to meet some other people who fly in Kent, as I've been a bit crap at finding good places to fly.
Hopefully I'll be able to come along to a fly-in soon!
Cheers!

Several Members do KAP, you can checkout where we will be flying from the " Next Fly in " portion of this site. See you flying sometime.

Welcome to our merry band of kitists. We don't take life too seriously but hopefully we'll be able to meet up and find some common ground in our hobby. Sounds like KAP is a good place to start, but you'll be looking for a decent single line kite to lift your rig.
Hope to meet up with you somewhere
