Sunday 14th July - Fly-in Tonbridge

As previously advertised:- Weather permitting Fly-in Sunday 14th June will be at the Racecourse Park, Tonbridge, Kent. TN9 1HF is the postcode quoted for the park.

I usually park in the car park off The Slade. What3words ///oval.claim.supply should get you there.

Wherever you park you will need to carry your gear over the river. We usually fly on the NE side of the park not far from the children's play area.

Current forecast 19 degrees, winds SW 11 - 12 mph currently no rain. I know there is time for that to change but hopefully we will get to fly.

What a lovely afternoon. Probably the most wind I have seen at Tonbridge for quite a while, it did come and go a bit but it was there enough for us to get kites in the air. It was good to see James again, he joined Barbara, myself and Gerty and had kites flying for most of the afternoon. The sun waited until well after lunch before putting in an appearance but it was nice and warm all afternoon.
