My schedule for this weekend says Faversham so... Sunday 16th June Weather permitting Fly-in will be at Faversham Recreation Ground. Parking is available by the toilet block on Park Rd. ME13 8EU will get you close as will What3words petrified.studs.glee Current forecast isn't to promising with 15 - 17 degrees winds SW 15 - 22 mph and light rain from 10.00 - 19.00. There is still time for all that to change and I suspect our local weatherman will be able to update us. Mike  |

Ok so Faversham is bright and sunny with a stiff breeze hardly a could in the sky. (08-24)
My weather app is showing 18 -24mph at present slackening off from around 1pm possible very light showers latter pm

Well it was a lovely sunny day when I arrived at Faversham Rec. then Stephen Palmer mentioned the 'R' word and the clouds burst. 15 minutes later it stopped and was dry for the rest of the day.
Quite a turbulent wind which kept promising a good fly then disappeared the moment you put something in the sky. We managed to get a few kites in the air and even helped a couple of families fly kites.
A new kiter came over called Mike came over and flew for s while; good to see you Mike, hope you come and join us again soon.
All in all a good afternoon.

Well Peter and I met at Faversham for a lovely afternoon once the rain had departed we helped a young family fly their kite for the first time and I had to ask if it had actually been bought as a fathers day gift as he flew it more than his daughter. Photos can be found HERE |
