I'd offer a couple of my kites for the pageant, including my Dunford Flying Machine but they're all embarrassingly bad flyers!

Mike the park will be open quite early so you should be ok.
Tim We envisage that the kites will be walked/paraded not flown especially as the forecast is for high winds.

Hoping to attend but not familiar with Mote Park and probably wont get there until midday, how far away is the public parking from the KKF gathering and is it pay & display?

Ummmmmmm!
Are the organisers expecting me to provide the close down music?
I can't find the CD anywhere and have tried to burn a new one without success...Sir always did this for me........
If anyone can help if it's needed.... the playlist was as follows
Final Count Down by Europe
Spirit In The Sky by ......I think,.. Mike and The Mechanics
Fairwell from the Sound of Music
Time to Say Goodbye by Sarah Brightman & Andrea Bochelli

Thanks for quick reply, will getting there early get me away from the riff & the raff and get me in as an exhibitor, I have a couple that might be good for the pageant or have I missed the boat?

You must be on site by 10.00 to park on the flying field and will not be allowed to leave in your car before 5.00.
If you want kites include in the pageant I will need a written brief for the commontator sent to me by email.

Weather looks as though it will dry up later in the afternoon so worth getting a few bits wet...... Where is everybody? Very little discussion going on here or are you all talking elsewhere? ??

I'm here, but a little jaded.
Lot of people in Mote Park this afternoon, and quite a few kites. Very windy. Car parks were full. Lets hope for similar conditions tomorrow. car all packed and ready to go. Hope I haven't forgotten anything.

Hi folks..... Really sorry to have missed this one...I am still coughing well and have an "interesting" voice..... Looks as though the weather was eventually kind to you and I hope it all went well, if a bit muddy! ?!!!! Look forward to catching up with you at Tonbridge next week.
