Thanks to all who came along to help today (Friday). A challenging day which I'll explain in Windjammer.
Those coming along tomorrow, expect a lot of people there. The car park was full when I arrived at 10 am. You will probably need to ask the car park attendants to let you through to our Teddy dropping area. I suggest you get there early rather than late. Keep to the edge of the field when driving, as the middle is a bit soft (ask the campers).

What a difference. Saturday was flat calm all morning. The breeze eventually turned up at about 2.30, sufficient to start getting some kites in the sky. By about 3pm, the sky was full of kites and the sun came out. So the end of the day was very pleasant.
Again, thanks to all who came along to support the club. Special thanks to Julie for providing lunch for this doddery old fool.

Day three and another change in conditions. This time a steady breeze blowing across the bield from the east in the morning. After a slow start, several bears were bunged. Most managed to avoid the hedge, mither dropping short or gloating over, but we had a brief period when all seemed to be targeting the windbreak. Then in the early afternoon the wind dropped and so did all the kites. The lull was brief, while the wind tried to decide which way to blow, eventually choosing from the north. So we settled in to another hour or do of intense activity.
Thanks once again to all who came along to support the club.
