St Mildreds; small area with strange winds and a tree lined garden in the middle; not sure it's all that good. I might be there on Sunday or may just go to Palm Bay as usual. Re: Palm Bay and toilets: Palm Bay Cafe - open 08.30-16.00. Kite Flyers welcome to use the toilets. Snacks and drinks also available.

Might be a challenge getting there from Maidstone as all routes east out of Maidstone seem to be car parks. It took just over an hour to get up Detling Hill this afternoon. M2 is shut from 4 to 5 coast Oundle. M20 has big delays between 7 and 8 coastbound.

All the apps differ as to when the rain is going to arrive. We are going over with fingers crossed

We met under threatening skies with Gareth test flying his new lifter. Joined by Peter and Steve P along with Debbie & Malcolm who popped by to say hello. We settled down for lunch as the rain began, however it wasn't as heavy as we had expected and swiftly passed. The sky cleared, the sun shone and we ended up with a lovely afternoon with a good selection of kites flown. Certainly not quite what the forecast had predicted. Next week Capstone! Mike
