This coming Sunday is scheduled as a fly-in at Milton Creek. The roads are still chaotic in the Sittingbourne area with continuing closures and problems on the A249 / M2 junction at Stockbury and the revamp of the Grovehurst Rd junction with the A249 at Kemsley. Barbara and I are unavailable due to receiving visitors on Sunday so I will leave it to you all to discuss and decide on a venue for this weeks fly-in. Please make your comments and decision known by posting on this thread so everyone knows when and where we will be flying. Mike  |

Being selfish, and given that the weather was rubbish a couple of weeks ago, could Tonbridge be considered again?

Also being selfish, given that the wind was rubbish three weeks ago and that last week at Walmer only three members turned up, could Palm Bay be considered again? It would be nice to have a few club members come and join me over in the east.

The forecast appears to be for strong gusty winds tomorrow.
Anyone wanting to try tomorrow at Tonbridge (I can't get to Thanet) or shall we leave things til next week?

I still aim to be at Palm Bay tomorrow around 12.30. I can fly on my own (because I love flying kites) but anyone who cares to join me would be most welcome.  |

I had a great afternoon in the sunshine with picnickers and holiday makers all out to enjoy themselves. Lots of compliments and questions about our club......such a pity I was the only one there. Attachments:
