Weather permitting Fly-in this Sunday 21st May will be at the Racecourse Park, Tonbridge, Kent. TN9 1HF is the postcode quoted for the park. I usually park in the car park off The Slade. What3words ///oval.claim.supply should get you there. Wherever you park you will need to carry your gear over the river. We usually fly on the NE side of the park not far from the childrens play area. Mike Sunday 21st May Fly-in will be at Faversham Recreation Ground. Parking is available by the toilet block on Park Rd. ME13 8EU will get you close. What3words petrified.studs.glee

There are posts on Facebook from Woodchurch, people complaining that the grass hasn't been cut on the green yet so we would be in a bit of a hay field there. Haven't flown at Mote Park for a while, it's not on our usual circuit. I have no problems with us flying there if it is acceptable to the majority, will cost £2.00 parking. Mike

Brilliant... would be good to put on a bit of a show with both single line and sports kites as the local youth hub manager will be popping down....She will also bring her kids with her... This could be an opening to some younger members to the club..

Lovely afternoon at Tonbridge. Nice and dry and reasonably warm although the breeze had a cold edge. Nice to see Chris and Sue, the fair weather kiters also James who joins us when he can from London. They joined Barbara and myself, Gareth, Gerty, Steve and Sue and Steve Davis stopped by. The wind was variable from not a lot to not quite enough, certainly not the 13 - 18 mph forecast. However we all flew something and Barbara actually go her Albatros revalike out of the bag for a quick lesson with Steve I. We were well entertained when a young lady from a party next to us mentioned that she hadn't ever flown a kite, one was duly found and she had a great time rushing around like a 5 year old singing lets go fly a kite at the top of her voice! All in all a good day. Mike
