Weather permitting Fly-in this Sunday 23rd October will be at the Racecourse Park, Tonbridge, Kent. TN9 1HF is the postcode quoted for the park. I usually park in the car park off The Slade. What3words ///oval.claim.supply should get you there. Wherever you park you will need to carry your gear over the river. We usually fly on the NE side of the park not far from the childrens play area. Mike

BBC weather says thunder around noon but only 10% chance of rain at 13.00, rain returning by 18.00. Winds South to SSW 8 gusting 16. May well give it a go assuming others will be there as well. Also assuming that we can navigate around all the road closures! Mike

Given the change in the forecast this morning, I don't think I will be venturing out to fly kites today. A real shame

It's also raining very heavy in Southwark at present, so I will be staying at home today.

In the absence of others and bearing in mind the forecast we will be staying at home as well. Mike

Well, it was wet and thundery for most of the day and when the rain stopped there was little wind.
Also, given the amount of rain which fell, the field would probably been very wet indeed.
I hope you all had a good Sunday anyway, and look forward to catching up with you before too long.
