Depending on the weather we will be flying on the beach to the rear of 'The Borrowpit' car park Kingsdown Rd, Walmer. what3words tilts.coolest.breakfast will get you close. Currently the weather is forecasting no rain 5 - 6 degrees with SSW winds 13 - 24 mph. A local update on Sunday morning would be welcome Mike

Not sure I will be out this weekend, but if I was to choose it would be either Walmer or The Lade. About the same journey time to each.

Weather report from nearly coastal station Deal
Currently: Sun - shining. Rain - non-existent. Wind - bamboo swaying, not violently. Temperature - chilly.
Forecast: Sun - yes. Rain - no. Wind - 18-24 mph (force 5) at noon, falling to 17-23 mph (force 4-5) at 5pm. Temperature 6C, feeling like 2C at noon, rising to 9C feeling like 5C at 5pm.
Novice verdict - sounds OK for kite flying but wear many layers !

....and there was I, all geared up, checking the seaweed, bamboo and birdbath, just as my instructor told me to.
All I can add is wind is south easterly which should save fliers squinting into the sun.
The Borrow Pit will probably be full so on street parking is a possibility, good news - the Walmer Chippy has re-opened.
