Just an update on travel to and from France. As from 15th June, travellers from UK are no longer required to fill out a certification confirming their travel is essential. However, they are required to self isolate for 14 days.
Ho hum. The FCO websight is updated weekly, so I'll keep people informed of any changes.

Ok folks, I've just seen a post on Facebook by the festival organisers. They have taken the decision to postpone the festival to September 2021. I will contact the hotel and ask them to move our reservations.
Gareth.

Gosh. Such a sad decision they have had to make.

I'm not at all surprised, I couldn't see how they could guarantee social distancing with the numbers they usually get at the event. Being an open venue there is no way of controlling numbers thus making it a very risky proposition despite being outdoors. Disappointing - Very, but postponed til next year is a lot better than being cancelled leaving a 4 year wait for the next one. Thanks for the info Gareth. Mike

Very sad but it was probably the only decision they could reach. After a three year wait Dieppe 2021 will be even more anticipated. Thanks for all your efforts Gareth.

The hotel have acknowledged our cancellation. When the dates for next year are finalised, I will contact them to rebook.
I will assume that those on the list will still want rooms, unless they tell me otherwise. If anyone else wants to join us, please let me know at some point so I can add you to the list
