KKF have been invited to be a partner in the Capstone Festival at Capstone Country Park Chatham. The event will be from 11am until 4pm. A flying arena will be set aside for kite flyers only, and parking for authorised vehicles will be allowed on the field next to arena. Public will be flying outside the arena in othe parts of the park.

Just had disappointing news, Capstone Festival has been cancelled for this year.
Due to the festival being taken away from the Medway Council Events Team, and placed with the Greenspaces Team, which has not given them time to re-organise the traders and others whom thye wish to have on site, as they wish it to have a "Green" agenda, with the kites being the main attraction. I am assured that it will take place next year.
I am very disappointed as I spent a couple of hours in July with the new lead on the event, who assured me that this year would go ahead on a small scale: as well as finding and giving contact details, such as Flying Fish, Michael Lowe and his wind instruments.

Sad to hear Malcom, I know how much effort you put in to it.
