I'm up for a fly-in but don't want to upset anyone by mentioning East Kent coastal flying sites. I can set off about 11.30 so I'll arrive wherever is chosen at 11.30+

We are up for a flyin this Sunday and would be quite happy to visit an East Kent coastal flying site in the absense of suggestions from anyone else.

Ok, shall we agree by the Sunken Gardens St, Mildreds bay (usual spot) which allows for those travelling not to have to come through Margate which on nice days is suffering from slow moving traffic. from 12 noon onwards.

Would it be ok if I popped along for a couple of hours tommorow?
I have a few hours to kill while Hayley is at her aunties.

no problem Jamie, you are always welcome to fly with us. It would be good to see you.
If you do not know where the venue is situated.come in on A28 head towards Margate. Major junction with traffic lights turn left, go past Carlton cinema, Turn right at next junction. It is I think third left turn into Sea Road/Royal Esplanade, follow road round and the sunken gardens are on the left. We shall be there from around midday.

A blustery afternoon, quieting towards the end of the afternoon, joined by Jamie Lund who arrived early, who was unable put anything in the air flying stable and also Julian Smith, who happily flew an hexagon all afternoon. Also usual flyers Barbara, Mike, Stephen Palmer, Peter H, and Tim. Jamie had to leave early to collect his wife Hayley who was visiting relations in Thanet. Good to see Jamie flying with KKF again, I have invited to come along to any of our weekly fly-ins, which he saidd he would do from time to time. Good to meet with both Jamie and Julian. Hopefully Jamie may consider in the future rejoing our merry band of flyers It was nice for me to be just flying and not being an event coordinator or having a family commitment for once.
