Think we would prefer Mote Park as Teston will be boggy underfoot after the deluge today. Mike

Mote Park also gets extremely muddy and slippery in the Winter, especially if they have been playing football matches!!!
I didn't even attempt Folkestone today as it was raining here.

No decision as yet, perhaps members should check out forum in the morning (Monday). Any-one going out to fly just post where they will be and others may wish to join in

Bright start to the day in maidstone, but no wind. Will probably pop out at some point this afternoon. May give white horse wood a try to see if there is any wind up there. Parking charge and lack of facilities a bit off putting though.

Sunny and light wind in Ashford at 10.42am, why not stick with Radnor Park. I will not be going to any Pay to Park venues or no Loos. Well organised, this event dont you think?.

Its mid day and a gentle wind in Ashford, no one seems to want to come out to play.

Oh well, spent a nice couple of hours at Radnor Park on my own. See you all in a few weeks with luck.

Lovely day for some solo flying Gareth, sorry you were on your own though. After birdwatching at Dungeness yesterday we have spent today drying out clothing and equipment - just like kiting really ( except parking and loos are free.)

Well as Gareth had indicated he was off to White Horse Wood in the pm and nobody else had posted before we left home. Barbara and I went to Mote Park for a walk round the lake, if we had time we were going to fly something. Steve came with us. A lovely walk, ground was remarkably dry considering conditions yesterday. Nice and sunny with a reasonable breeze. By the time we got back to the car and had eaten our rolls it was getting dark and cold and the wind had dropped so we went back home. Sorry to have missed Gareth at Radnor, we must have passed somewhere along the way. Hope to catch up with you somewhere in the next few weeks. Mike PS. as we arrived home we received a txt message from our daughter inviting us over for a cup of tea followed by a roast dinner. It turned out to be a very good day!
