OK, I've got the registration form for Ostend, I plan to go from Friday 8th to Monday 11th, so three nights. I have a choice of low cost hotels, but need to get in quick prices are EUR 30 or EUR 50 for single rooms and EUR 50 or EUR 70 for double rooms (per night, including breakfast). I need to get the registration forms back as soon as possible.
There is an Ostend Bird mega fly each day at 1pm and a night fly on Saturday night at 10pm.
So who wants to come?

Just so folks are aware, looking at the registration form, it looks like I have to pay for the hotels, etc. in advance. anyone want to do the Saturday night flight? What about the barby? I've attached a copy of the registration form so folks can see the options and costs. I will probably send off the form next weekend. Attachments:UITNODIGING2015ENG.pdf (401.97 KB)

Am happy to go with the flow Gareth, but would think that a half decent hotel overlooking the flying area would be worth paying the extra for???
Not so sure about the barb but again happy to go with what people want to do. There are plenty of good restaurants which average £25 menus....Did quite a sorte when I went to Ostende with a friend last October...
Can pay you by BACS once we know the cost.
Many thanks for once again being our tour rep!!!

Sorry for delayed reply Gareth, we have been away for a few days.
Have looked at Hotels on map of Ostend and the beach flying area and it seems that the two dearer hotels are the nearest to the beach but set on one road back so don't think there would be sea views. The Mondo looks quite kinky, should suit us, but like Gerty we are happy to go with the flow. If you are booking us all as participants we will have our Birds with us. Also like Gerty not fussed about BBQ but will leave it to our esteemed Tour Rep.
Money will be available as soon as you require it.

Gareth, can we join your 'KKF on tour to Ostend Kite Festival' trip. Thanks Gerty for the lift. As others have already said, happy to go with the flow, not too fussed about BBQ. We would like to participate in the Ostend Bird flight.

OK, I'll put in an application for either Mondo or Royal Astrid hotel. Put us down for Ostend Bird flight, and night flight, but not BBQ.

I have applied for rooms. If we don't get them through the organisers we'll need to reconsider. Might be wise to book with a cancellation option if possible. I'm in the same boat (our train) as you.
