Update on he above from Allan Pothecary.
Please note if your interested in attending, I have the newsletter and beach pass application, which I able to send to ou personal e-mail address.if you let me know.
Hello All A lot has been happening down there in Dorset getting ready for this year’s Weymouth Beach Kite Festival. I am amazed at the hours and hours of work Michael McManus(local organiser) has been putting in to an event he has never been to before but is really keen, not only to raise enough to run the festival, but to go on and earn more for the local charities he supports.
Please have a read and consider pre-registering your details for a beach pass. Please can you also indicate if you might be coming to the social and meet the mayor evening and are likely to buy a meal there that evening - it all helps!
You may wish to take advantage of the special rates Michael has agreed at the FairHaven Hotel Rooms include breakfast and are £40.00 per head per night and £70 per night for a double room. The hotel may request a £20.00 per head, non returnable deposit at the booking stage and balance is payable on arrival. You may need to mention Michael McManus and the special rate available for kite flyers.
