The entrance if on Saffron Way, Sittingbourne ME10 2HA Take the road by Sittingbourne Station heading towards the Isle of Sheppey, go pass the large ASDA on your right, The entrance is through double gates next to the last house. These will be locked for security reasons but there will be some-one around to let members have access. Please note that cars will be parked a few yards away from flying area also ensure you lock your car and also be aware of any personal possessions left lying around. We had no problems last year, and part of the the remit of the park is to engage the young people of the area in outdoor pursuits miltoncreek.co.uk/contact/directions-to-park/
Yep, toilets and refreshment available in the Parish Hall for the duration this time. Access for parking via the big double gates on Saffron Way, next to the last house Timings are 11:00 – 16:00 so will a 10:00 start for setting up be ok I have a map which is too large to upload so if you need on please let me know and I will e-mail it to you This is a Saturday Any problems contact me on my mobile number which most of you have already.

If memory serves this is the same entrance we used last time. My Sat Nav brings me up the A249 Sheppy road past Sittingbourne and in on the B2005 past Kemsley station. Green Porch Close (previous access by the church) on left, access is then on left hand side at the end of the houses. See you all there Mike

Well it stayed dry and sunny mostly. A good number of KKF members attended and all took turns at making kites with the children who were mostly well behaved and polite. The one downer to the day was when Syds lifter kite line was cut and it sailed off over towards the Paper Mill, a search was carried out but it was not found. Ed the Ranger was very pleased with our contribution.
