The wind is fresh and quite blustery at times. Its just finished raining but its black all around and looks like its about to give us some more rain.

Another weekend and another gale force wind! Met up with Peter, Gareth & Steve P at St Mildreds on a very gloomy rain filled day with an extremely agressive biting NE wind gusting well into the 30's mph. Had lunch in the car, Steve flew a pterodactyl followed by his Scott Hampton sled while Gareth tried a sled. They flew for a short while before deciding that the wind was just to cold and unfriendly so packed up and headed home. Barbara and I stayed on for a walk to the loos, with the sun shining, followed by a stroll along the prom to the Barnes car park, up the slope and back to the car via the sunken garden. Out of the wind it was a glorious afternoon and quite warm in the sun, in the wind it was biting cold. Well at least it might prepare us a little for the conditions in Northern France later in the week. Mike
