Warning to anyone heading to Walmer this Sunday. A "critical Incident" has been declared due to long delays getting vehicles through French customs in Dover Port. There are road closures on the A 20 with Round Hill Tunnel closed in both directions, with long delays on roads in the area. This might ease overnight but who knows. Mapping is currently sending me via Canterbury and down the A2 adding 9 mins to journey times. Well worth double checking in the morning before you set off.

The current weather is bright, rather breezy but dry. Wind direction will probably necessitate sunglasses or cap brims as you will be facing the sun.
I am unable to join you as off to Canterbury (via the villages in case Dover is still gridlocked) for a Birthday Lunch with god daughter number three.
Hope those who make it have a good fly.

Too windy by far. But at least the roads were clear on the way there. On the way back, lorries were being stacked on the A20 outside Dover.

Much to windy, arrived to find Gareth and Peter having a chat in the lee of Peter's van. Had a good chat and Gareth went home. We stayed for a while soaking up the sunshine but slowly freezing in the strong wind whilst putting the world to rights. A20 Lorry stack had gone by the time we drove home.
Easter next weekend so hoping for better weather.
