With underfoot conditions being pretty muddy it has been decided that The Lade is the better option this week. We will be somewhere near the junction of Coast Drive and Williamson Road. For What3Words users ///unsecured.fragments.cake should get you pretty close. We tend not to use the carpark due to the parking charges, so we park in the road on the coast side where the yellow lines end. This coming weekend we should be heading westwards again. I'm thinking Tonbridge provided the underfoot conditions are ok. Forecast currently 10 - 11 degrees with N - NW ish winds 4 - 6mph. Feedback regarding conditions at Tonbridge would be welcome.Mike

Tonbridge works fine for me, but we need this rain to stop!

Ok chaps and chapesses, you are on your own this weekend as I have two cars off the road so will be unable to get anywhere this Sunday. Hopefully all will be repaired for next week. Have fun Mike

Given the amount of rain we have had this morning, and the predicted rainfall tomorrow. Can I suggest The Lade as a better option please.

Everywhere is well soggy at the moment... Tonbridge would just be a muddy afternoon as we are not expected to get any nice drying wind before Sunday. See you at the Lade, courtesy of a very kind young man who happily does a detour for a decent bottle of wine!!!

Was a lovely afternoon with the sun out for most of the time, though got a little chilly towards the end of the afternoon. The wind was light and at times non existent at times, but gave time for catching up with each other. Hope this is the beginning of things to come for the rest of the year!!

It was a nice day in Thanet with a gentle wind so I thought to go out to Palm Bay (nice and dry under foot) and put some ripstop in the air. I managed to get my Spirit, Trilobite and Crab up before the wind started to drop around 4.30 so I packed up. Hey-ho, at least I got a few up. I stayed until 7 pm hoping to fly night kites but the wind never came back.
