Monday 26th December (Boxing Day) being an honorary Sunday, It has been suggested that we hold a Boxing Day Fly-in weather permitting. If anyone is interested then here is the place to post a preferred location and time. I'm not sure of my availability at the moment. Mike  |

I will now definitely NOT be available this weekend/BH.
The aforementioned boiler (see post on 18th Dec discussion) had a temper tantrum on Sunday and spat quantities of water all over the hall. I'm keeping an eye on the drying out process. I don't want a crop of mushrooms like I had once before in the bathroom !
I might, or might not, be available 1st/2nd. Depends whether the boiler has finally been taught to behave like a good boiler should.

It seems to be a year for such things!!
We have no water for most of the time or intermittent. Either way it's not fun. Apparently the problem could continue through Christmas!!!
I will just make sure I have turned off all the taps before I leave on Boxing Day......

Tonbridge, unfortunately is a no, no...
I did a recci today and there is still a lot of water on the field with the risk of further flooding over the next few days...
However, please do not dismiss this as a Winter site as after a few dry windy days, it soon drains away...So maybe not too far into the New Year?
I have a whole lovely family I know wanting to come down and have a go as soon as poss....

The weather forecast doesn't look too promising for boxing day 😒.

A lovely start to the day here in Maidstone. Let's hope it stays this way. We will head down to the Lade, probably arriving between 12.30 and 1pm. It will be good to get a bit of string in my hand again.
