I see from the A.G.M. minutes that we are considering a gas filled blimp as a teddy lifter. On the one occasion when I have got near enough to pull the line on an advertising blimp it was surprising how little lift there was. Just enough buoyancy to keep itself up, with nothing to spare. After all, its really only a balloon. Colin.

They don't use 100% helium,its a mix. Bog

I'm no expert, but chair seems to believe it is the answer, we did use a helium filled balloon a couple of years ago at a Scout event, which worked well

Helium filled blimp - i've heard Bill called much worse than that..
