What a lovely afternoon spent Kite Flying on the Green, 8 of us either flew Kites or nattered or both. Some new kites ( to me ) filled the sky with colour.

Very enjoyable afternoon, there was wind all day, in the good direction for flyinh, but at times it was blustery. Barbara and Peter H had broke spars, whilst Peter had a small tear caused by his broken spar going though the kite skin. At the moment Peter seems to have broken spars and tears in at least one kite every time he comes out to fly.
Good to catch with Tony and Chris Smith who came over from Eastbourne. Tony is due to have his last course of Chemo this week and then has an appointment with his oncologist. Wish for him a good report from the specialist.
