I have been working with design project team that is decorating one of the Victorian Shelters within Margate in regard to promoting the Coastal Walk. The shelter is on Fort Hill almost opposite the Police Station. This is going to be developed into a Kite Pavilion for three days. I was going to propose to the people behind the pavilion that KKF may have a fly-in at Palm Bay on the Sunday 11th September to tie in with the promotion. I just wished to gauge the likelihood of members and other coming along to fly ( weather permitting). before respodning back to them; as some members will be already in Dieppe and others will be preparing to go in following week. I may loan them one or two of the older larger kites I have for the three days.
I am trying to climb on board as a promotional for the KKF, as well as giving the design team some background support.

Sunday is the 11th September young man. I will be at the Southern Model Show at Headcorn that weekend. It is a good idea to get involved, shame it clashes with other Events, to many hobbies and not enough days to engage them.

Me too....
Can you confirm whether it is Saturday or Sunday?
Perhaps a mass fly of flo-tails would be appropriate?

You are all right it is Sunday 11th and I have now corrected the original posting The design team have won an arts council Grant for promoting one of the old Victorian Shelters on the coastal route. The design leader found out about the previous kite festivals. So they are decorating their shelter with kite design and they intend doing a children's kite making workshop. We are not doing the workshop. Mike has kindly agreed to cut out as many sails from plastic bags supplied over next ten days as he can do around his work. This is all a last minute venture as the design team only learnt the grant being awarded at beginning of July.

We hope to be there accompanied by the Dieppe clothing orders. To save space in Malcolm & Debbie's car for their important things I would appreciate dispersing the clothing before Dieppe rather than waiting until we get there. Many thanks everyone.
