The venue this Sunday is a pre-booked day at Brogdale Fruit Collections,Brogdale Road, Faversham, from around 11am. Additional height clearance hsa been obtained from CAA.
Please park in the Car Park, as the heavy rain of last week and the expected rain of this week, will make the normal field we use, not suitable for the movement of vehicles.
Following week hopefully as many members as possible will be flying at The Kites on The Beach event at Walmer on Saturday 28th, please follow under events.

after the rain, we sat around chatting (no change there) then a light breeze picked up for about half an hour in which time we managed to fly some kites. Dragon by Martin Wheeler by Gareth Williams, on Flickr Then the wind dropped again, so we chatted some more before heading home.

Great looking new kite Gareth, very impressive in the sky. Much of yesterday was dominated by no wind and rain, impressive turn-out 11 members, including Tony and Chris who were having a camping weekend away from their base in Eastbourne. Pity the weather did not allow for much flying. Debbie and I left a little earlier than most members and on the way home it rained and continued to do so for most of the remainder of the day. Left off long enough to get kites stored in garage for trading at Walmer next week into the house for pricing up. Just awaiting delivery to-day of a top up box from Kiteworld. I am also taking along the single line kites left over from the auction of Stuart Richards kites to try to sell.
