It's nice out and we've all been moaning about the weather and the lack of flying opportunities. Anyone up for a fly today? I've got a car full of kites to pass on to people.

Lovely here in Ashford however it is Mothering Sunday, daughter is coming over for dinner (James is somewhat under the weather with scarlet fever so their options are limited) and have to go and visit ancient father sometime today. Not sure how we can fit kite flying in. Best day for a long time and we are unavailable grrrrrrrrrrr! Wont be around next weekend either Mike

Ok. Looks like I'm going alone then. Think I'll give Tonbridge a try but might be muddy.

Well not a bad afternoon really. In fact I would say it was one of the best afternoons I've had at Tonbridge. Spent an hour or so playing with kites, and yes Malcolm, it behaved pretty well without adjusting the bridle at all. And finally, bumped into Gerty in the car park just as I was leaving. Good to see you again Gert.

You are not mistaken Steve. We have already apologised to the powers that be but we will not be able to attend the AGM, just unavoidable I'm afraid. Mike

You should be very careful. Those who don't turn up tend to find themselves elected to committees - or worse!

I think Mike and Barbara are fairly safe from being volunteered in their absence, as Mike edits the Windjammer and helps to cut out and ready the kite sails for the children's kite making workshop.
