I would like to echo Ekim's comments, and thank very-one who supported the event, despite the variable wind. In regard to the public, I thought we had got it sorted last year in regard to the arenas and where the public could fly. It was agreed the same format would apply again this year, but this year Medway Council brought in a hovercraft rides attraction which was placed where the public flew last year. There was a lot of room in the area where the tented attactions were, but the stewards seem not to have a clue about kites, and people having fun flying. I have already fed back about the stewarding and the lay-out of the flying arenas, awaiting an outcome.
Despite all the challenges, it still seem to be a good day kite wise, although the public numbers appeared to be a little bit thin on the ground compared to other years.
Medway Council is the one local/district council who appear to wish to work with Kite Flyers and especially KKF, so would like to keep the good relationship continuing inti the future.

Enjoyed our day at Capstone, challenging winds, our Trilobite made a bid for freedom, but it failed, thanks to the combined efforts of Steve, Bow, Paul and Tim's long pole with hook attached, the Trilobite was recaptured, undamaged, thanks for all your help.
