Hop Farm Craft Fair 28th & 29th April. Provisionally: Kite flying, teddy dropping & kite workshop. Cars must be on flying field before 9.30 or you will have to use the main car park. No vehicle movements on site between 9.30 - 5.30. Overnight camping possible, water, toilets, showers & shop on site. With visitor numbers in the region of 8 - 15,000 we look to see a good turnout from members to make this a great event for the club. Please respond if you can support this event.

Hi all,
i'll just elaborate on the topic, initially KKF were booked to carry out a kite workshop, teddy dropping, loan of kites to the public and kite flying. Just prior to xmas I had a request to put on a 'show' in the event arena. After some discussion it was decided that we invite flyers with single line show/exhibition kites or inflateables to fill this area.
Camping is free. There are showers, toilets & a shop on site plus pub grub next door.
If we can make a success of this event then I am sure others will follow at this venue.

Syd The Hop Farm website has a page for the Country Craft & Food fair that can be found here:- www.thehopfarm.co.uk/events/178/the-country-craft-and-food-fair/At the bottom it indicates that Camping would be from midday friday to close of play Sunday. Would like to say we will be there but cannot commit at the moment. I will have a word with Barbara tonight and see if we have anything in our diaries that will get in the way and will post as soon as I know one way or the other. Mike
