Anybody got any preferences for this weekend? How about Palm Bay/Cliftonville, Thanet? We haven't flown there for well over a year.

We've not done Thanet for a long time so Royal Esplanade Westbrook, or Palm Bay, that I've never flown at, would seem good to me.

No Loos are there? Where are they?. Len. I think there are some loos at the Palm Bay Cafe, but although I am local not sure if the cafe is are open at this time of year. The nearest ones for Royal Esplanade are down at the Cafe at St. Mildreds Bay, which has restricted opening hours at this time of year

As Peter has been an ardent supporter of KKF fly-ins, I am to post Palm Bay, Cliftonville Margate as the venue for this weeks Fly-in.
Just follow the road through Margate up pass the new Turner Gallery and keeping going following the road until to come to the clifftops again. In the past we have flown towards the far end just before the school.
From about 11 am onwards. So far wind has not picked up to-day in Margate, although chilly.

Just an update on weather in Margate. Ir is variable, so far this morning in my part of Margate, there has been sunshine, light shower, light wind, as well as being blustery.
At this moment around 10am it has brighten up a little, the wind in the tree tops is breezy, but overcast.
I shall be up at Palm Bay between 12.30 and 1pm.
As I finish this message the sun has come out, so amongst the overcast sky there are some blue patches
No idea what the weather will be like in the next 10 minutes let alone the rest of the day

Sorry but wont be joining you today. At time of writing the weather here, just along the coast, is breezy and sunny so those attending should have a good cliff-top fly.
