We enjoyed a very nice day, the wind was a bit fickle at times. those there were myself, Sue and Steve, Peter H, Pat and Peter soon to be Members, and Steve P. My new KKF promotional A Frame was on display for the 1st time and I am pleased to say lots of people stopped to have a look and chat. www.flickr.com/photos/len_in_kent/14085225528/Jilly Pelhams brother and his wife came to see us as they had spotted the flying kites, they were keen to be reminded when One Sky One World was being held as they wish to attend. Left for home a little burnt by the sun. Len.

Enjoyed our day in Hythe yesterday, as len stated wind fickle, but nice and sunny, my face got rather red. Peter H flew his brand new Robert Brassington kite, unfortunately a spar broke on its maiden flight, but it is a lovely coloured kite, sound as though we had better weather than at Margam. Sue PS Steve P AA route planner says Hythe to Woodchurch is 16.6 miles !!!

Glad you all had a good day. We ended up at Weald Country Park and had a lovely time in the sunshine. Managed to get 4 of my 5 bee swarm flying and Barbara briefly flew her stowaway parafoil ably assisted by little James who loved flying grandmas kite. By the way if anyone is in the area Weald Country Park, South Weald (Nr Brentwood) is a brilliant flying site. Plenty of room (500 acres of parkland loads of parking (umpteen car parks, £2.50 per day) toilets and refreshments. Mike
