Yes, Happy Anniversary to you both!
Had I known I would have done something for you, but have been sent on a mission to ensure that you won't forget the year!!!! You will have to wait a while though.....
I hope you have had a splendid weekend?
We had a great afternoon at Brogdale in the sun and the children from the school were delightful. I think we will be seeing more of them and also be invited to fly in the grounds of their school (with a workshop to do).
We were joined by a couple from Deal (Sorry, did not ask your names) who found us via the net and seemed to enjoy themselves, but I hope that they were not put off by all of the technical stuff!!! Bill spent much of the afternoon teaching the flying of sports kites. Barbara's tiger flew in the end and was quite a sight.

Whew what a scorcher! Great day at Brogdale, shame there wasnt just a little more wind (where have I heard that before). What a great bunch of Children very attentive and interested in what we had to say. Extremely polite and seemed to thoroughly enjoy themselves. it was great to see the field full of children flying kites, now that is what its all about! (Have found the owner of the jacket left on the field, it will be in the post to the school tomorrow). I am assuming at least one of the new peeps was Pat W as I found an email when I got home about 10 mins ago saying they had found us on t'internet and were going to come and find us at Brogdale but didnt know what time we would be there - I haven't answered as I have assumed it was they who followed Peter around the farm and joined us for the afternoon. Thanks to all who came along especially those who helped the children with the kites. Good turnout, me & Barbara, Gerty, Peter, Steve (Yes he is back only slightly tanned!), Bill & Matt. Despite the fickle wind we were able to put on a show and yes Barbara managed to see her tiger properly in flight although somewhat sporadically. No decision taken regarding next flyin Barbara & I are not around and I know a couple of us are off to Margam park so Im afraid it was left very much in the air. Mike

Thanks to all members who made it a food day for the children. We were invitde to the school orginally, but it is based in Oxted, so long haul for most members.
Did any one get the details of the couple who joined in as it would be nice to invite them to be members especailly forming a Deal group of KKf with the ruby wedding people.
