Anyone up for a fly tomorrow?
What about seeing the new year in with a fly somewhere?

Flew at Herne Bay Boxing Day with two young friends who had kites for Christmas (wonder who the donors were...) both flew well but ground extremely muddy. Barry's kite had to go in the bath afterwards.
Unlikely to fly again until the ground dries out somewhat, certainly Tonbridge and Teston sites are out for the foreseeable future.

Managed to fly a couple of kites at Hengistbury Head, one of the Solent club's sites today before the rain returned. What a fantastic setting!
Mudeford very much reminded me of Camber....
Will try and see what time I get back from Hampshire to join you at Camber......

Very nice thank you Len. A small group turned up to a packed Camber full of people enjoying the sun. The breeze was stiffer than expected which meant that those of us who came out with mainly light wind stuff were a bit undone. But a lovely afternoon flying and chatting.

Am happy to join you where ever.... Forecast is not looking too promising though..... Would prefer sand to mud if it is going to be a bit damp......or pebbles even? Was good to catch up with the "in crowd" today on a glorious afternoon.
