This is the first of the dates that Syd arranged for Kent Kite Flyers at Brogdale Farm juts off the A2, Faversham.
The field we have for use is the one next to the car park. So long as the field is not too wet, access can be made by going into the car park and following along the right hand edge towards a field at the rear, juts before you come to the gap into the field, turn left just before the hedge and there is a gap into the flying field. Hope you will do your best to support the fly in as Brogdale are wishing to have a good relationship with us. From approx 10am to 5pm

Sorry all but it clashes with a Regatta that I am involved in. The weather needs to improve somewhat for both events. Len.

Please note that I have spoken with the powers that be at Brogdale, there has been a change in where we they wish us to fly, as they have booked a caravan club into the field mentioned in my previous posting.
We can use the field to the rear of the one by the car park, or the one where we flew last year which I believe is at the rear of the fields. I have not been able to get additional height clearance for this Sunday.

You won't be alone Gert. I'll keep you company and bring the coat you lent to Barbara at Folkestone.

It was a thoroughly pleasant day for flying and I just wish I had got there earlier! There was warmth and wind, a perfect combination very rarely experienced these days. We managed to put up enough kites to kid people visiting that there were many more of us. The kites could be seen from all around including from the motorway. Hi-light of the day was Gareth's maiden flight of his very impressive edo! Very much looking forward to many more days of happy flying at Brogdale this year

It was indeed a very pleasant afternoon. I spent a good few hours bridling the thing, then managed to get a brief flight. Thanks to Matt and Peter for your help in getting off the ground, and to Matt for the video. youtu.be/H1YuDH4fya0(Proboards won't let me embed the video, so here is the link)
