Given the weather - temperature and snow flurries here - we too will not be making the journey to Tonbridge today. Good flying to those who do venture out...

It was a bit fresh myself Gareth managed to fly a few kites and Bill managed to keep abreast with a couple of kites. The park has dried out very well considering the weather we have had recently!

It was snowing here around 10.00hrs today. Remembering back to the good old Easter weekend Festivals held on Blackheath Common, those were the days with sunshine and nice winds, parking on the grass, lots to see. My favourite team to watch were the fabulous Decorators. One year a mega Team was put together and they flew to the improvised sounds from a group of guys playing Didgeridoos. Every year this chap appeared in combat gear with a paragliding chute on his back, he would sometimes get the chute inflated but never tried to take off. Shame H & S killed this event off.

Re- Blackheath.
The Blackheath event was not killed off by H&S it was the village association and the council redesigning the road layout. H&S got involved when the event as relaunch with the Bike & Kites festival.
