UPDATE :- Weather permitting Fly-in this Sunday 12th February will be at the Racecourse Park, Tonbridge, Kent. TN9 1HF is the postcode quoted for the park. I usually park in the car park off The Slade. What3words ///oval.claim.supply should get you there. Wherever you park you will need to carry your gear over the river. We usually fly on the NE side of the park not far from the childrens play area. Mike

I'm around but, as usual, will be setting off late so cannot travel too far.

Sorry Gareth,
I was in Tonbridge yesterday before I saw your message, otherwise I would have gone and looked.
I will try tomorrow on my way home from Maidstone after an appointment with the Police Crime Commissioner!!
I would imagine that it has pretty much drained by now as we have not had any real rain for a while and it does dry up quickly.
We could possibly have to move a little up field as there is quite a dip by the play area which you only realise when there is a flood.
I do know that the fields were used for a football tournament last weekend.

I went and checked the field this afternoon.
It is certainly ok for flying. I didn't come away with very muddy shoes or anything. Just be aware that as you are walking across the field from either car park there are some ruts left by vehicles, but not enough to cause any problems with trollies etc.
It's a shame we were not flying today as the weather was perfect!

A miserable afternoon in Tonbridge. Good to see those who came for a natter. Some of us sat in Weatherspoons drinking coffee for a while before giving up and going home.

A similar day weatherwise at Palm Bay. Spent the day watching the sea mist and waiting for a puff of wind. I swear I saw a couple of grass blades move once.
