Bagsie some space for my sky hook! If we go for the kites that need wind we might get some Zero-G weather (always assuming the rain goes away) Mike

It should be Canterbury, but if members decide elsewhere then that is ok. It is up the consensus of members as which venue they wish to fly at each week

Weather 'persons' are saying wet on Sunday but hey do we care? I'll be there about 12 if there's a fair chance of 'mostly dry' and some flying.

We will most probably be there but as always don't expect us early. We don't do early3on a Sunday! Mike

I am posting Rough Common for this Sunday, I will contact Norman to request the gate be unlocked. Have a good day's flying.

What a wonderful afternoon. Arrived to find Peter well sorted with a flowtail on high. After parking outside the locked gates and lugging our gear through the kissing gate and over the stile we settled down in the chairs with cups of coffee whilst deciding what to fly. Nice dry and warmish afternoon with reasonable breeze (although rather lumpy at times) we flew a good assortment of kites with a good selection of KKF members (I counted 9). Good to see you all there. Mike

Billy would like to thank all the 'No-mates' who turned up yesterday. A big thank you goes out to two in particular. One who shall remain nameless but foresook alcoholic embrocation in order to finally make it; the other is Bill who valiantly stood talking with Billy for some considerable time without once doing a Boston two-step with the kite lines! I have to agree it was a near perfect day and a shame it had to end.

For once the weather forecasters got the weather wrong, I am glad to see that a number of member's met up with Peter.
Apologies for the gates not being unlocked, but I did e-mail Norman and inform him.
Before KKF next go to Rough Common, I will speak with Norman to find out if there is a problem for him these days in being able to go to unlock the gates.
