Fly-in on Sunday 4th September - Walmer. Weather permitting we will be flying on the beach to the rear of 'The Borrowpit' car park Kingsdown Rd, Walmer. what3words tilts.coolest.breakfast will get you close. Mike Following Sunday 11th Sept - Milton Creek always assuming that's ok with Kris

Oops, sorry, forgetting my duties as weather reporter. It's been so long ...
Gorgeous. Hazy sun, not too hot (yet?), light wind, increasing from virtually nothing earlier on. Forecast 14 mph (force 4) with gusts to about 18 mph. Does that sound perfect ? Oh, and southerly, so we won't get blinded.

A glorious afternoon flying stick kites on Walmer beach in very pleasant company. Conditions were almost perfect. We could see France across the mill pond that is sometimes known as the English Channel. The breeze was warm, the conversation interesting and the public welcoming. Why go all the way to Lytham when we've hot places like this on our doorstep 😁

I'm sorry I missed it but I was able to catch up with some old school friends at Faversham Hop Festival before we 'Headlined' at the Albion Tavern by the Creek.
