I reckon Bill should give it a try. Would take the weight off his back and knees!

It's interesting how things come round again. Back in the early 90's in the STACK Freestyle/Innovation competitions featured people flying stunk kites from their feet. I used this in some competitions / display routines from 92 to 96 to the classic track - you need feet by Bernard Bresslaw. Guess the next thing well see will be DOG-STAKE Flying, again seen in the early 90's events.
The next hot kite on the market according to EBay is the Peter Powell stunt which can out in 1972 (thanks to a feature on Blue Peter) and seem to be changing hands for silly money. £60+
Guess being involved with kites and events since 1982 very little is new.

I saw a young chap dog stake flying a year or so ago at a festival (can't remember which one). Everyone thought this the height of innovation, but I distinctly remember seeing it described in "Stunt Kites to Make and Fly"

This has to be the ultimate in "flying for fun" - he must surely be a KKF member! Mike Just hurt my NHS knees watching the video
